The new discernment pathway for Licensed Lay (Reader) Ministry in our  Diocese has been designed to be 50 -50 partnership between the training department and incumbents.  It is run on an apprenticeship model and the practical outcomes of the training will all be learned and assessed in the parish by the training minister/supervisor.

 

Please find below some documents to to help you with the training and discernment process. Prior to the start of the course the Director of Studies will meet with you and your incumbent (or other supervisor in a Vacancy) to go through how the course works and what you each need to do.
