The new course for Licensed Lay Ministry (Reader) training in our Diocese has been designed to be 50 -50 partnership between the training department and incumbents.  It is run on an apprenticeship model and the practical outcomes of the training will all be learned and assessed in the parish by the training minister/supervisor.

 

Please find below some documents to to help you with the training process.  It's worth both students and supervisors watching at least the first half hour of the video as well, which gives an overview of how the course works.
